Flemish Champion Noblesse

Top Performers at the Flemish Championship

On Saturday, July 26th, the Flemish Championship for Belgian Draft Horses took place in Baardegem. Under radiant summer skies, we participated with a diverse group of mares — from curious yearlings to mature horses — and enjoyed a truly wonderful day. To top it off, we were honored to bring home one of the coveted black-and-yellow ribbons!

First Steps for the Yearlings

Our three yearling mares took part in a show for the very first time. Although they weren’t competing for prizes yet, it was a valuable experience. Calm and curious in the ring, they offered a lovely first impression and a gentle introduction to the world of competition.

Adult Mares Among the Winners

Among the adult mares, four horses entered the ring: three with foals and one without. In their respective classes, Rhône van de Parelhoeve, Quelle-Dame van de Parelhoeve, en Orfee van de Parelhoeve een each earned a first place. This qualified them to compete in the final round for the champion title in the mares-with-foal category. In the final selection, Orfee remained among the last three standing — a strong result in a competitive field.
In the class for mares without foals, Noblesse van de Parelhoeve also won her group. Later that day, she was crowned Flemish Champion 2025, adding one of the most prestigious titles to her record.
