On the day of the national competition, Premier showed himself from his very best side — he looked as if he had just come straight out of a gift box. In his class, that box even got a big ribbon: Premier won the class. The many congratulations, including some from unexpected corners, were accompanied by the words, “And now on to the championship.”
In the championship, Premier appeared a bit more nervous, but as a sire he made quite an impression. He ultimately finished in a respectable third place and was therefore third overall. Perhaps we had secretly hoped for more, but he won the hearts of the audience — and that is something we are at least just as proud of.
